Hi everyone, this was our playlist from Feb 16. We got into a discussion about supporting local music before our show started, so we made an effort to showcase more local music, especially this time around.

I did one feature on the “I Ate Your Legs” compilation. It is a compilation of mostly local area Vancouver music, put out by Thankless Records, a Vancouver based record label.

I also book ended the show with mini features on the “Freedom Rhythm & Sound” compilation, which is a fairly recently released Soul Jazz records comp featuring revolutionary jazz and Fire Music between the years of ‘63 and ‘82.

Veronica and I also featured music from people who have recently been to town, or are coming to town in the not too distant future. The Flying Lotus show has happened since the 16th and I can tell you that it was AMAZING! What a great performance.
