This week, I did a feature on the CD86 compilation. It is the remastered/expanded CD version of the original classic cassette put out by NME magazine in 1986. It is a great account for independent music after the first rush of punk and post punk releases which kicked off the early 80s. The other feature was tracks from the Wire magazine’s Below the Radar compilation that is a free download for subscribers. The Wire magazine is a British magazine which focuses on the most interesting music being made these days.
